During the recession of 1990's, three Leicestershire employees faced redundancy when the plastic injection moulding company they worked for folded. John Cooper and his two partners Bhagwanji Patel, and Sukhdev Singh decided to face the challenge of building a new company using their experience and knowledge of the plastics industry, and as a result, JSB Plastics was established in 1992.

"We found four surplus moulding machines, installed them I premises in Bridge Road, Leicester, that was just the start!"

Now, two moves later, we own our 10,000sqft manufacturing premises in Knighton Junction Lane, Leicester, housing 13 injection moulding machines as well as a wide range of other plastics manufacturing and processing equipment. We have recently acquired an adjacent 3,000sqft warehouse. JSB Plastics supply a wide range of plastic injection moulded components to the automotive, electronics and point of sale sectors. We also currently export to Germany, Sweden, and the USA.

Our customers have given us much encouragement and support for which we are extremely grateful.

We have found our hands-on style and pro-active approach has been to everyones benefit.

With the help of Business Link Leicestershire, the company compiled and implemented a management system which achieved international quality standard ISO9002.
